REFLECTIONS

Here are a few reflections on my lifetime adventures

My mother had a favorite quote from Shakespeare: “This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.”

It would appear that this is good advice.

There are few real friends to be found in life. I count perhaps three over all these years. But I am still blessed.

Spotted more than seventy years ago on the wall of the office of the Weaver, Minnesota creamery: “From the day that you’re born ‘til you ride in a hearse, there’s nothing can happen that couldn’t be worse.”
